    The people who make the laws and solve problems form something called a government, something that exist all over the world Someone who works in the government can help an entire country or they can simply be in charge of taking care of a city or state In the United states we choose our leaders by voting, which people are able to do when they are 18 years of age and are a citizen to this country The president is known as the most important leader as he leads the whole country, we get to vote for a new president every 4 years The books goes on to teach as fact like the fact that Washington D.C was named as after the first president It tells us that Congress is a part of the government and the Senate is a part of Congress It lets us know how before we didn t use to have as many government officials because the U.S population was not as large back then I would use this book to teach...
